A little arts and crafts inspiration for your Monday. Let’s get this week started off right!

This weekend we made canvas zipper pouches personal with an array of different patches from places we visited from afar as well as some adhesive patches from Paper Source that visually describe things we like right now (🍕🍩 and 😻.) Here is how we made them in threes steps…

  1. First we found all that patches we wanted to adhere to our pouches. Using an iron I warmed up the canvas by lightly ironing it, I then stuck my patch in place and ironed on top. I did this for both the adhesive patches I had purchasede from Paper Source as well as the patches I collected on various trips around the globe.
  2. We then added some pom poms for flair both at the top and on the zipper pull (you can see how to make your own pom poms on our previous blog post here.) The pom pom ribbon was also found at Paper Source and can be found here.
  3. Each pouch was finished off by die cutting the recipient’s name on our Silhouette Cameo using silver glitter iron on material. If you don’t have a Silhoette Cameo, you can also purchase iron on glitter letters from Amazon and use them to make your monogram.

Voila! Three steps to a fun and personalized canvas zipper pouch!

Canvas Pouches (sold in packs of three) can be found at Paper Source.
